From Knowledge to Action: Our Fire Extinguisher Training in Practice

Fire safety is no trivial matter; preventing fires before they start is crucial. To enhance the fire safety awareness of all staff and improve their emergency self-rescue capabilities, today, our company organized a Fire safety training activity with the theme of "Knowledge Popularization and Practical Operation of Fire Extinguishers".

The administrative staff first systematically explained the types of common fire extinguishers， their applicable scenarios， and operation points. After the knowledge explanation， the employees conducted practical operation drills under the guidance of the administrative staff：

The employees took turns operating， and the administrative staff corrected the details of their actions on the spot： "Stand at the upwind side， maintain a safe distance， aim at the root of the fire source and continuously spray..." The originally awkward movements gradually became proficient.

This training， through a combination of "theory and practice"， made fire safety knowledge no longer a mere wall-mounted regulation but a practical self-rescue skill. The participating employees said： "Previously， seeing fire extinguishers made us think we could use them， but when we actually operated them， we realized that there were many details to pay attention to." "Knowing the differences between different types of fire extinguishers， we won't be panicked and use the wrong ones when encountering situations."
