In the development history of rotational molding, there are two mainstream processing techniques, namely granulation process and dry mixing process. The overall process has significant differences, being two distinct pre-treatment methods for product processing materials.

Rotomolding HDPE, short for rotationally molded high-density polyethylene, is a specialized thermoplastic material used in the production of large, seamless, and durable hollow products. The rotomolding process involves heating powdered HDPE resin inside a rotating mold, ensuring even material distribution and the formation of stress-free structures. This technique has gained immense popularity across industries such as automotive, agriculture, marine, and chemical storage due to its ability to produce complex shapes with exceptional strength and longevity.

Among rotomolding materials, Nylon 12 (PA12) stands out with its unique performance combination. As a key member of the long-carbon-chain nylon family, Nylon 12 features longer molecular chains and lower amide bond density, resulting in an extremely low water absorption rate of approximately 0.25% — the lowest among all nylon products. Additionally, it boasts low density, excellent low-temperature toughness, and outstanding oil and chemical resistance. It maintains good toughness even in extreme cold environments as low as -70°C, with a long-term service temperature reaching 80-90°C.
